A Flutist’s Book of Days is a compendium of flute music for every day of the year recorded by the University of South Carolina flute studio, Dr. Jennifer Parker-Harley, studio alumni and friends.

Studio members and Dr. Parker-Harley aim to create a database of 365 pieces flute music, each associated with the composer’s birthday. These pieces are by a wide variety of composers, at a wide range of difficulty levels and types of ensembles, including solo flute. We hope that it will serve as a helpful resource for flutists and flute-lovers, whether you are looking to program something on a recital or for some interesting listening! All music has been recorded by Dr. Parker-Harley, past and present members of the studio and guest artists that we have hosted.
